Why is life so complicated?

I really don’t know why,

Sometimes it’s a struggle to survive

But it’s something I’m going to try.

              

I think health and happiness is what it’s all about

Yours and others equally,

Loving and caring for all mankind

Treating your fellow man as you would like to be.

                

Whether Christian or not, I think you will agree

God had the right idea,

‘Love they neighbour as thyself’

Comfort them in times of fear.

                

The world is thy neighbour

And everyone has the right to live,

So go out and find a lonely person

Love and friendship is all you need to give.

                

Tell them. “So what if life is complicated!

And no-one has the answers why,

Yes.  It’s a struggle to stay alive

But it’s something I’ll help you try.”
